High School Diploma (NEDP)

Earn an adult high school diploma through this program. The National External Diploma Program (NEDP) is a competency-based high school diploma program for individuals 18 years of age and over. The program is designed for adults who have acquired their academic skills through life and work experiences and can demonstrate what they have learned.

The NEDP measures your academic and life skills, including reading, writing, mathematics, oral communication and critical thinking. As you work toward your high school diploma, you will demonstrate your knowledge and skills in financial literacy, civic literacy, geography, health literacy, history, science, and workplace issues.

This flexible program allows you to complete assignments at home, to set your own pace, and to work with knowledgeable and helpful professional educators. Students will meet with an Advisor one-on-one basis and scheduling is flexible. Computer Access/ WiFi is needed to complete this program.

Attend a one hour Zoom Information Session, to find out more and to take the qualifying test for entry into this program. Information Sessions will be held at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the Mondays listed below. Students may begin the registration process by calling (703) 791-7357 or sending an email to adulted@pwcs.edu.
