Earn Your GED®
Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes, focusing on improving math, language arts, social studies, and science skills, are offered at all the adult education programs in Northern Virginia. These classes prepare you to enter programs for earning a high school credential, such as a GED® or Adult HS Diploma.
Pre-GED and/or GED® preparation classes are also offered at all adult education programs. These classes are for students currently at or above a 6th grade or 9th grade level and focus on the skills and knowledge needed to pass the GED® test. Our region also offers Spanish GED classes at both Arlington and Prince William programs.
